Yukon Solitaire Rules
Objective
Move all 52 cards to the four foundation piles, building up by suit from Ace to King.
Setup
All 52 cards are dealt to the tableau at the start. Column 1 receives 1 face-up card. The remaining columns receive an increasing number of face-down cards (from 1 to 6) followed by 5 face-up cards.
Playing
•
Tableau to Tableau: Move a group of face-up cards between tableau columns. The group does not need to be in sequential order. The bottom card of the moving group must be placed on a target card of opposite color and one rank higher.
•
Tableau to Foundation: Move the top card of a tableau column to a foundation pile, building upwards by suit from Ace to King.
•
Empty Columns: Only a King (or a stack starting with a King) can be placed in an empty tableau column.
Winning and Losing
Win: All 52 cards are on the four foundation piles.
Lose: There is no stock to draw from, so once no group of cards can move to another column and no card can move to a foundation, the game ends and the deal is lost.
