Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-Tac-Toe is a two-player game played on a 3x3 grid. Players take turns placing their mark, trying to get three in a row.

Players

•
X goes first in the first game
•
O goes second in the first game
•
Players alternate turns
After the first game, the first move alternates: O opens the second game, X the third, and so on. You keep your mark between games; the sidebar shows who moves first.

How to Play

1.
On your turn, place your mark (X or O) on any empty square
2.
Once placed, marks cannot be moved or removed
3.
Play continues until a player wins or the board is full

Winning

A player wins by placing three of their marks in a row:
•
Horizontal: Three in a row across any row
•
Vertical: Three in a row down any column
•
Diagonal: Three in a row along either diagonal

Draw

If all nine squares are filled and no player has three in a row, the game is a draw.
