Texas Hold'em

Overview

Fixed-limit Texas Hold'em for 2–6 players. Each player gets two private hole cards and shares five community cards. Make the best five-card poker hand and win the pot. Play continues until one player holds all the chips.

Objective

Accumulate all chips at the table by winning pots. The last player with chips wins the match.

Setup

•
Standard 52-card deck
•
Each player starts with 500 chips
•
Small blind = 5, big blind = 10
•
Fixed bet sizes: 10 on preflop and flop, 20 on turn and river
•
Maximum of four bets/raises per street (open + three raises)
•
The first dealer button rotates between games: Player 1 holds it in the first game, Player 2 in the next, and so on round the table

Hand Flow

1.
Blinds — Small and big blinds post. Heads-up, the dealer posts the small blind.
2.
Hole cards — Each player is dealt two cards face down.
3.
Preflop betting — Action starts left of the big blind.
4.
Flop — Three community cards are dealt (after a burn).
5.
Turn — Fourth community card.
6.
River — Fifth community card.
7.
Showdown — Remaining players reveal; best five-card hand wins the pot.
Between streets, choose Continue when betting is complete to deal the next board card(s) or run showdown.

Special Rules

•
All-in: A short stack may push all remaining chips into the pot. Side pots are used: the all-in player can only win from each opponent up to the amount they committed themselves, including chips put in by players who later folded. Remaining players continue betting for the side pot only when at least two in-hand players still have chips (there must be someone left to bet against). Once a player has no chips left they stay in the hand and do not act again.
•
Split pot: Identical best hands split the pot evenly. Any leftover chip from rounding goes to the lowest-numbered tied seat.
•
Winning without showdown: If everyone else folds, the last player takes the pot without revealing.

Winning the Match

When only one player still has chips, that player wins the game.
