Classic Bingo
Classic Bingo is the familiar American 75-ball hall game. Each player gets a unique 5×5 B-I-N-G-O card. A caller announces numbers one at a time. Tap matching cells to daub them. When you complete a line, shout Bingo! — the game verifies your card against the call history before awarding the game.
This is separate from Card Bingo, which uses playing cards instead of numbered hall cards.
Objective
Complete any single line (row, column, or diagonal) on your card, then successfully declare Bingo.
Setup
1.
Players: 2–8. Player 1 starts as the caller (the caller also holds a card and can win). The first caller rotates between games: Player 1 calls first in the first game, Player 2 in the next, and so on round the table.
2.
Cards: Each player receives one 5×5 card. Columns use standard ranges:
•
B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60, O 61–75
3.
The center cell is FREE and starts already marked.
4.
Cards are independently dealt (collisions are vanishingly rare).
5.
The call pool holds balls 1–75, each drawn at most once per game.
Play
Play is simultaneous — everyone reacts to the same call.
1.
The caller taps Call to announce the next number (shown as letter-number, e.g. B-12, and written to the game log).
2.
Any player who has that number taps the cell to daub it. Illegal taps (uncalled numbers) are rejected.
3.
When you have a completed line, tap BINGO! to declare. The game verifies the line against call history.
4.
The first player to successfully declare Bingo wins the game immediately.
5.
Once all 75 numbers are called the cage is empty and the caller has nothing left to call. The game is not dealt again: every number on every card has now been called, so every card can still complete a line. Play goes on until someone daubs a line and shouts Bingo!, and the first verified shout wins as usual.
Winning
•
Win: The first player with a verified Bingo declare.
•
All 75 called: There is no redeal and no draw. Every card can complete a line once every number is out, so the game waits for the first verified Bingo.
Notes
•
v1 awards single-line patterns only (optional patterns like four corners or blackout are reserved for a future release).
•
Daubs are never applied automatically — you tap each match.
•
Completing a line may highlight as a hint; the game is awarded only after a verified declare.
