C-low (Cee-lo)

Overview

C-low is a fast-paced dice game played with three six-sided dice. Players ante tokens into a pot and take turns rolling for ranked combinations. The highest roll wins the pot.

Objective

Be the last player with tokens remaining.

Setup

•
2–6 players each start with 100 tokens
•
Three standard six-sided dice are shared

Round Structure

1.
Ante — Each active player contributes 10 tokens to the pot. Players who cannot afford the ante are eliminated.
2.
Rolling — Players take turns rolling all three dice, in seat order. If the roll is meaningless (no valid combination), the player must roll again.
3.
Resolution — After all players have established a valid roll, the highest-ranking combination wins the pot.
The player who made the round's deciding roll rolls first in the next round. If the ante knocks that player out, the next player still in goes first instead.

Dice Combinations (Highest to Lowest)

Rank
Combination
Description
1st
4-5-6
Automatic win — round ends immediately
2nd
Trips
Three of a kind (6-6-6 best, 1-1-1 worst)
3rd
Point
Pair + singleton — the singleton is your point (6 best, 1 worst)
4th
1-2-3
Automatic loss — eliminated from the round
Any other combination (e.g., 1-3-6) is meaningless and requires a re-roll.

Special Rules

•
Instant win: Rolling 4-5-6 ends the round immediately — remaining players do not roll.
•
Instant loss: Rolling 1-2-3 eliminates you from the current round.
•
Tiebreaker: If players tie for the highest roll, only the tied players re-roll until a winner is determined. Everyone else is out of the running for that pot: the tie-break is decided between the tied players alone, even if their re-rolls end lower than a roll made earlier in the round.
•
Carried pot: If all remaining players roll 1-2-3, the pot carries over to the next round. In a tie-break, the remaining players are the tied ones.

Winning

The game ends when only one player has tokens remaining. That player wins, and takes the whole pot: no ante is collected for a round that will never be played.
If no player can afford the next ante — possible only after a carried pot — the game ends in a draw.
